“Let the record show” that the Milani Cosmetic brand does not want any part of the Amber Heard and Johnny Depp trail.
The drugstore cosmetics brand has recently been implicated in Johnny Depp‘s defamation complaint against his former wife Amber Heard.
Heard’s attorney stated during opening arguments this week that the Aquaman actress kept the Milani Conceal + Perfect All-in-One Correcting Kit with her throughout her “entire relationship with Johnny Depp,” and that she used makeup to conceal injuries from Depp’s alleged physical abuse during their relationship.
After the jury announced its verdict, Milani issued a response. The makeup brand posted a 15-second video to its official TikTok account on Thursday to refute Heard’s allegation.

“You asked us… let the record show that our Correcting Kit launched in 2017!” they captioned the post.
“Take note: alleged abuse was around 2014-2016, got divorced 2016, makeup palette release date: December 2017,” read text over the video that showed Depp and Heard in the courtroom, as the Backyardigans’ song “International Super Spy” plays.
The short clip then shows Milani headquarters, where a young woman holds up a company product catalog and opens it to the page about the makeup compact. The camera next pans to a slide that clearly states the product’s 2017 release date, implying that Heard was not using that particular palette during her relationship with Depp.
“We are here to provide the facts of the case,” Milani added.
Since their marriage dissolved in 2017, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have been involved in a number of legal fights. Their contentious trial proceedings are still underway at the Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia, which will decide whether Heard’s 2018 Washington Post essay defamed Depp.
Johnny Depp is seeking at least $50 million in damages, plus an additional $350,000 in punitive damages, attorneys’ fees and court costs to compensate for the harm done to his career as a result of Amber Heard’s allegations.
