Man robs Omaha beauty shop

The search is on for a guy who robbed an Omaha beauty salon.His target wasn’t money, it was hair products and clippers.Surveillance cameras spotted the man walk into Sally’s Beauty near 35th and L street just before 8 o’clock the night of January 10th.When he came in, he was greeted by a small dog and an employee.Before the robbery began, another man tried to walk into the store, but the suspect stuck some kind of weapon in that man’s stomach and forced him to back out of the store.The thief then turned and apparently told the worker what he wanted to steal.They went to another part of the store for a short time and the thief was then seen walking out with a bag full of items.The store reported that he took a $165 Ion Max cordless trimmer, an $88 Wahl Essential clipper and trimmer, a $71 Wahl 5-Star clipper and some unidentified products and tools.The man was dressed in camouflage, had on a black ball cap, a black neck gaiter or mask with a large design on it, mismatched gloves and tan work boots.Anyone who knows this beauty shop bandit is asked to contact Omaha Crime Stoppers:(402) 444-STOP (7867)www.omahacrimestoppers.org“P3 Tips” Mobile AppAll tipsters stay anonymous but could still get a cash reward.
