Fashion and Instagram go hand in hand and there will always be the ‘influencer’ leaders who everyone follows, but sometimes you have to look a little further to find some individuality, and so we did.

From Dublin to New York we compiled a list of the 6 most stylish ladies who you may not even follow yet and not one of them is a Kardashian.

There may be the odd face you recognise but never really considered a fashion leader so perhaps you can get some sartorial ideas from these ladies as we head in to spring.

Northern Ireland – Marianne Smyth

Marianne Smyth boasts nearly 300k followers. The Northern Irish influencer has taken Instagram by storm with her beautifully curated, feminine approach to posting images.

Marianne has well and truly revived the mirror selfie with her innate sense of style and she credits her simple, fuss-free pics for her large following on Instagram.

Marianne also boasts an interiors page too where you can get plenty of inspiration or just plain old envy if you aren’t in the market for a redecoration.

New York – Diana v

Diana Veras is a model based in New York and represented by Elite Model Management and Milk in the UK, she is known for pioneering the body positivity movement, she is also a campaigner for racial diversity.

Diana wants to redefine beauty standards and her Instagram page is a beautifully curated look-book which includes everyday life, sultry selfies and big-budget modelling campaigns.

She has fronted Harpers Bazaar and Teen Vogue and worked with designers Marc Jacobs and Opening ceremony.

California – Whitney Port

Whitney is not a new name to most by any means but maybe a new name in style, many follow Whitney as a hangover from the Hills and the City days but now she is a star in her own right and is certainly keen to shake off the reality-show tag.

She has reinvented herself beautifully. Whitney lives with her husband Timmy and son Sonny in California and has recently launched a loungewear brand, Cozie, but it is her everyday looks that she shares on Instagram that has made her a leading fashion influencer and a clothes-horse for top designers across the world.

London – Juliette Foxx

Juliette is as cool as she looks, she is a digital content creator and founder of Romeo’s Fashion Fix, a fashion and lifestyle designed and styled by Juliette herself.

Juliette is easily recognisable in a Frow because of her sassy style and bright pink hair, she has built up a following of over 130k on Instagram and has now dipped her hand in e-commerce where she sells her designer wares at a fraction of the price to her followers.

Juliette is very much a case of watch this space, this is no ordinary influencer, she is a boss and will probably be running her won empire soon.

Majorca – Zoe Jordan

The daughter of Irish Formula One driver, Eddie Jordan, Zoe spent some of her life in Ireland and the UK before setting up camp in the dreamy setting of Majorca on the Balearic islands.

Zoe may be seen as a designer as opposed to a style influencer but if you watch her Instagram closely you can get huge inspiration from her boho/luxe style.

Zoe creates colourful knitwear, cashmere loungewear and bombers all influenced by the sunshine, tie-dye is the main theme and celebrities form Fearne Cotton to Selena Miller and Selena Gomez have been snapped in her clothes.

Hamburg – Leonie Hanne

Leonie is the epitome of cool, she hails from Germany and now resides full-time in London, she has scandi-chic down to a tee.

Everything she wears looks effortless and she is a regular at all the top shows across the world. Not only is she Germany’s biggest fashion influencer but she is also a stylist, model, presenter and now a businesswoman, with the launch of her site OhhCouture.

Scrolling through her feed will make you want to go on a huge shopping spree.

These ladies are certainly leading the way when it comes to style but check out the most popular influencers in Ireland.
