Varudu Movie Review – Allu Arjun Performance in Varudu

Varudu Movie Review: Varudu, a much waited movie from Guna Sekhar starring Allu Arjun and Bhanu Mehra was released on March 31 2010. The music was composed by Mani Sharma and the movie Varudu is produced by D.V.V.Danayya under Universal Media Banner.

What is the Story of Varudu Movie?

Sandeep (Allu Arjun) is a very happy going guy with traditional thoughts. He likes to marry a girl in a traditional manner of 5 day events and 16 day celebrations. He also decides not to see the face of the bride until the marriage time. Liking his good nature, Deepthi (Bhanu Mehra) agrees to the proposal. Just when they are about to get married, Deepti gets kidnapped by the Villain Diwakar (Arya). Why does Diwakar kidnaps her? Does the marriage between Sandeep and Deepthi happen? How the hero fights with villain? Forms the rest of the story…

Actors Performance in Varudu:

Allu Arjun as usual gave his energetic performance. The character is completely different from what Allu Arjun is? But a small thing is missing here, he needs to work out on his dialogue pattern when choosing these kind of roles in future.

Bhanu Mehra is not so impressive. There is not much to tell about her except the kissing scene between Allu Arjun and Bhanu Mehra.

Arya has been chosen correctly but was not used properly. However, he bought some life to the movie at few places.

Brahmi, Ahuti Prasad and others like Ashish Vidyarthi, Suhasini etc… are worthless except for their brand value.

Final Analysis:

The Movie Varudu is completely based on Telugu Wedding Culture but dealing with this style of narration is not an easy task. It is evident that Guna Sekhar has missed the way to impress the audience.

The entire marriage episode was taken in just one song “5 rojula pelli”. This film Varudu really doesn’t require such a high budget to take such unnecessary scenes and fights like the one on towers. Director “Gunasekhar” has really wasted a lot of money on unnecessary things. Despite of his brand, Gunasekhar has no good taking skills. He was completely failed as a director with this film.

The film might have good openings because of the presence of Stylish Star Allu Arjun. But will not run successfully for more days.
